Wharf REIC seeks to list US$3B debt shelf

Wharf REIC Finance (BVI) Ltd. filed an application with the Hong Kong stock exchange to list a US$3.00 billion medium-term note program.

The one-year term debt shelf, which is expected to be listed on the bourse Dec. 13, is guaranteed by the Wharf Real Estate Investment Co. Ltd. spinoff of Wharf (Holdings) Ltd. and Wheelock and Co. Ltd.

HSBC arranged the program, for which it also acted as a dealer along with the Bank of China (Hong Kong), DBS Bank Ltd. and Mizuho Securities, according to a filing.
