Benz Mining plans 14,000-meter drill program on Mel zinc-lead project

Benz Mining Corp. on Jan. 30 announced a 14,000-meter drill program for 2018 on its Mel zinc-lead project in Canada's Yukon Territory.

The first objective is to explore the southern extensions of the Mel main zone and the Jeri and Jeri north targets, and the second is to upgrade the Mel main zone resource to the measured and indicated categories from its current inferred resource of 5.28 million tonnes grading 6.51% zinc and 1.86% lead.

Benz bought the project in early 2017 from Silver Range Resources Ltd. for C$2.7 million.
