Iron Mountain Inc. disclosed initiatives to align its global operations with the goals set under the Paris Agreement on climate change.
The storage and information management services provider said it is joining the RE100 initiative and commits to using renewable energy to fully power its global electricity requirements by 2050.
The company is also partnering with the Science Based Targets Initiative to set a carbon reduction target by the end of 2019.
In its 2017 corporate responsibility report, the company said it reduced its absolute greenhouse gas emissions globally by 6.6% year over year amid continuing business expansion.
