Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. on Dec. 26 issued a recall of 5,900 Super Carry vehicles due to a possible fuel filter defect.
The Suzuki Motor Corp. subsidiary is targeting units of the light commercial vehicle produced between April 26 and Aug. 1. Super Carry models in which the fuel filter was replaced during the same time period are also part of the recall.
Maruti Suzuki will inspect the recalled vehicles for the potential safety defect, with replacements made free of charge.
