An-shin Food Services Q3 profit falls YOY

An-shin Food Services Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income was NT$1.38 per share, a decrease of 14.7% from NT$1.62 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$44.9 million, a decrease of 14.8% from NT$52.7 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 3.7% from 4.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to NT$1.21 billion from NT$1.18 billion, and total operating expenses rose year over year to NT$1.15 billion from NT$1.12 billion.

Reported net income rose on an annual basis to NT$55.4 million, or NT$1.71 per share, from NT$53.9 million, or NT$1.66 per share.

As of Nov. 11, US$1 was equivalent to NT$31.93.
