Banijay Group SAS is considering a joint bid for Endemol Shine Group Ltd. as it plans to select certain of the Dutch company's assets, TBI Vision reported Oct. 11.

ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE's Red Arrow Studios is reportedly one of the companies considering a joint bid with Banijay, but it has denied its involvement in sales talks.

Companies initially interested in bidding for Endemol included Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. and Sony Corp. but they have backed out, TBI Vision said.

RTL Group also said it was not interested in buying the Dutch content production powerhouse.

ITV PLC clarified earlier in October that "it has no current intention of making a bid for Endemol Shine Group."

Endemol's co-owners, 21st Century Fox Inc. and Apollo Global Management LLC, each owning a 50% shareholding in the company, have agreed to sell their stakes if a buyer is found.
