Kompas Mejni Turisticni Servis d.d. said its first-quarter normalized net income was €428,970, a gain of 66.2% from €258,160 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin rose to 2.0% from 1.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 8.5% year over year to €21.4 million from €19.8 million, and total operating expenses climbed 8.9% from the prior-year period to €21.2 million from €19.5 million.

Reported net income increased 67.1% from the prior-year period to €686,340, or €1.15 per share, from €410,790.
