Dalian Sunasia Tourism Holding Q2 profit climbs YOY

Dalian Sunasia Tourism Holding Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income was 10 fen per share, a gain from 3 fen per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 9.6 million yuan, an increase from 3.0 million yuan in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 12.8% from 4.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased year over year to 75.9 million yuan from 73.1 million yuan, and total operating expenses declined 16.9% on an annual basis to 52.0 million yuan from 62.6 million yuan.

Reported net income rose year over year to 14.9 million yuan, or 16 fen per share, from 3.5 million yuan, or 4 fen per share.

As of Aug. 18, US$1 was equivalent to 6.39 yuan.
