Peru's BBVA Continental raises 132.4M soles in oversubscribed bond offering

BBVA Banco Continental SA said that it raised 132.4 million Peruvian soles in its offering of series A corporate bonds May 31.

Total demand for the offering, which was set at 100 million soles but expandable to 150 million soles, reached 212.3 million soles, the company said.

The 3-year debt carries a fixed interest rate of 4.4375%, payable semiannually.

The offering is a part of the bank's seventh corporate bond program worth $1.00 billion.

As of May 30, US$1 was equivalent to 3.27 Peruvian soles.
