Compartamos Financiera to auction negotiable CDs worth 70.0M soles

Compartamos Financiera SA on Oct. 17 plans to auction 360-day negotiable certificates of deposit worth up to 70.0 million Peruvian soles.

The offering involves 70,000 negotiable certificates of deposit with a nominal value of 1,000 soles apiece.

The series A notes will be issued Oct. 18.

BBVA Banco Continental will structure the issuance while Continental Bolsa SA Sociedad Agente de Bolsa will act as the placing agent.

The offering is part of the firm's second negotiable certificates of deposit program for up to 200 million soles.

As of Oct. 13, US$1 was equivalent to 1.25 Peruvian soles.
