Natus Medical finalizes sale of hearing screening business to Pediatrix Medical

Natus Medical Inc. finalized the sale of its Peloton business to Pediatrix Medical Group.

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Natus' Peloton business provides hearing screeners to hospitals for identification of hearing loss in infants.

Under the deal, Natus agreed to provide Pediatrix with supplies to support the latter's hearing screening business — including the installation of Natus' Algo screeners at Pediatrix hospitals. Installation of the screeners is expected to be completed during 2020.

Natus provides medical device solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of central nervous and sensory system disorders.
