Zurich North America appointed Valerie Butt head of casualty for commercial insurance in Chicago, replacing Brandon Fick, who was named chief underwriting officer, the Insurance Journal reported.
Most recently, Butt was global head of customer, distribution and market management for commercial insurance at the company.

U.K.-based RFIB Group Ltd. appointed Simon McCrum managing director for Asia Pacific at RFIB (Singapore) Pte Ltd., replacing Chris Bracegirdle, effective Oct. 15.
Previously, McCrum worked at Willis Towers Watson PLC as president director of Indonesia. His appointment is subject to the appropriate regulatory and ministry approvals.
