Radian Group Inc. has acquired Entitle Direct Group Inc., a national title insurance and settlement services company.

Eric Ray, senior executive vice president of technology and transaction services for Radian, will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership for the company's title and settlement services businesses.

With 40 state title insurance licenses, Entitle Direct will continue to operate under its current brand and will provide the same products and services to its customers.

Financial terms of the transaction were not announced.

PartnerRe assumed control of Entitle Direct in 2017.
