Starwood's $760M deal for NextEra gas plants wins FERC approval

FERC has given final blessing to to sellits ownership interests in two natural gas-fired plants in Pennsylvania.

Under the deal, the NextEra Energy Inc. subsidiary agreed to sell equityinterests in the 786-MW MarcusHook and 48-MW MarcusHook 50 facilities to an affiliate of . Thecompany sought FERCapproval in July for the $760million transaction.
