Energy Transfer Partners files for sale of $1.5B of common units

EnergyTransfer Partners LP filed a shelf registration for the sale of upto $1.5 billion of common units.

Energy Transfer intends to offer the common units from timeto time in one or more classes or series and in amounts to be determined bymarket conditions, it said in a May 10 SEC filing.

The proposed maximum offering price was estimated only forthe purpose of calculating the registration fee.
