Maersk Drilling, Aker BP sign pact to deploy rig to Ula field offshore Norway

Maersk Drilling A/S and Det norske, or Aker BP, signed a one-year contract, the first under the 2017 alliance between Aker BP, Maersk Drilling and Halliburton Co., to deploy the jack-up rig Maersk Integrator on the Ula oilfield offshore Norway.

Halliburton will function as the service provider for the campaign that will begin in June 2019 following the completion of the high-performance jack-up rig's current campaign on Equinor Energy AS' Gina Krog field in the North Sea.

With this contract, Maersk Drilling has added 2,373 days and $313 million to its backlog in 2018.
