Aggregate capital raised by U.S. banks and thrifts year-to-date reached$88.68 billion as of Sept. 30, according to S&P Global Market Intelligencedata. In the last two weeks of September, common equity raised amounted to$30.1 million from four offerings. Nashville, Tenn.-based closed its initialpublic offeringwith proceeds of $25.3 million excluding the amount sold by sellingshareholders. CapStar Financial is the second IPO in Nashville in Septemberafter FB FinancialCorp raised a total of $128.5 million from an of its own on Sept. 16.
Aggregate senior debt raised year-to-date stands at $64.20 billion,from $58.96 billion in the comparable period in 2015.
