ExplaurumLtd. said May 3 that it has discovered a new high-grade mineralizedzone about 500 meters to the west of the current resource area at itsTampia goldproject in Western Australia.
The first seven holes of the ongoing reverse circulationdrilling program, which commenced last month, also confirmed and expanded the areaof mineralization as indicated by historic drilling at Tampia.
Drill results include 8 meters at 8.96 g/t of gold from 68meters, 7 meters at 5.99 g/t of gold from 128 meters and 13 meters at 2.49 g/tof gold from 37 meters.
A total of 28 holes covering 2,440 meters have beencompleted under the program, which has been extended and is estimated to becompleted by mid-May. Final assay results are expected before the end of themonth, with a diamond drilling program within the starter pit area planned tostart in May or June to contribute to Tampia's scoping study.
