Mangazeya shuffles management team

Mangazeya Mining Ltd. said April 4 that it has namedRoman Kashuba as CEO and corporate secretary, Ada Lanyak as CFO and VladimirBogomolov as COO.

Kashuba joined the company in 2014 andhas served various positions at Troika Dialogue and Sberbank, where hespecialized in providing investment banking services to CIS clients from themetals and mining space. He will replace Sergey Yanchukov who has decided toresign from his post and take on the chairman role.

Yanchukov will take over from IgorOmelchenko. Omelchenko will remain part of the board.

Lanyak, meanwhile possesses extensivefinancial expertise in the gold mining industry. She will replace LiudmilaArutyunyan who decided to resign.

Bogomolov has more than 30 years ofexperience in metals and mining. He joined the company in 2014 and has been incharge of operations at the Savkino mine.

The company also said that it hasappointed Gerald Rohan as an independent non-executive director and the head ofthe audit committee of the board. Rohan has been involved in a number oftransactions in the natural resources industry.

"We have streamlined themanagement team to focus on the operations of the company and development ofour existing assets. The board will be engaged mostly in strategic issues withspecial emphasis on corporate governance and transparency," Yanchukov said.
