Roughrider reduces property claim on Kivalliq's Genesis uranium property

Kivalliq Energy Corp. said Oct. 4 that Roughrider Exploration Ltd. will not maintain its option on 15 of the 56 claims comprising the early stage Genesis uranium property in northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, effective Sept. 30.

Under an amended deal, Roughrider has an option to increase its interest in the Genesis property to 85% until Aug. 31, 2019.

Genesis now consist of 41 claims totaling 131,412 hectares.

The companies recently completed a field program focused on the Jurgen area at Genesis, with assays pending.
