Charter proposes $1.5B debt offering

Charter Communications Inc. subsidiaries CCO Holdings LLC and CCO Holdings Capital Corp. proposed a $1.5 billion offering of senior unsecured notes.

The offering comprises senior unsecured notes due 2023 and senior unsecured notes due 2028, the company said Oct. 10. The 2028 notes will form a part of the same series as the issuers' 5.000% senior unsecured notes due 2028 issued Aug. 8.

Charter plans to use the net proceeds to pay related fees and expenses and for general corporate purposes, including buybacks of the class A common stock of Charter or common units of Charter Communications Holdings LLC.
