Anima shareholders clear €300M capital raise to fund Aletti purchase

Shareholders of Italian asset manager Anima Holding SpA approved a €300 million capital increase, proceeds of which will go toward the €700 million purchase of Banco BPM SpA's Aletti Gestielle SGR SpA.

Shareholders also elected Antonio Colombi to the board. Colombi is part of the CEO's staff at Poste Italiane SpA.

Anima said it would update the market when it begins the capital increase.
