Amazon.com Inc. will hire more than 120,000 workers across its network of fulfillment centers, sorting centers and customer service sites in the United States to help manage increased orders during the upcoming holiday season, the company said Oct. 12.
The company noted that "thousands" of positions filled for the 2016 holiday season transitioned into regular, full-time roles after the holidays, a trend the company expects to continue in 2017.
Amazon employs more than 125,000 regular, full-time employees at its more than 75 fulfillment centers across the country.
