Everest Re GroupLtd. has formed Alternative Solution Group at Everest Specialty Underwriters,a division of Everest Insurance.

The Alternative Solution Group provides transactional risk andprofessional and management liability insurance to private equity firms and hedgefunds.

Robert Clark was appointed vice president to lead the new unit.Clark joined the company in 2015 from Axis Insurance Co., where he was vice presidentof the private equity group.
