Report: Shenzen Stock Exchange's new chairman named

Shenzhen Stock Exchange President and CEO Wang Jianjun was appointed chairman of the bourse by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Caixin reported Jan. 10, citing people close to the matter.

Wang is being promoted to replace former chairman, Wu Lijun, who left the bourse to become vice chairman of China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd.

Wang's appointment will take effect upon completion of administrative procedures, the report added.
