Antero Midstream buys $100M of common stock from Antero Resources

Antero Midstream Corp. on Dec. 16 purchased back 19,377,592 of its common shares from Antero Resources Corp. for $100 million.

Antero Midstream bought the common shares for $5.1606 per share, according to an SEC filing. The sale is part of Antero Resources' planned asset sales to shore up the independent driller's credit.

Antero Midstream owns gathering, compression, processing and fractionation assets in West Virginia and Ohio and integrated water assets, which provide service mainly to its parent company, Antero Resources.
