Banco BMG SA said that it plans to reorganize some of its managerial roles, including that of the CEO and chairman, to support its strategic plan.
Under the planned moves, which will be put forward to shareholders in 2020, Ana Karina Bortoni Dias will step down as chairman of the bank and take over as chief executive. Ricardo Annes Guimarães, who currently serves as a director on the company's board, will become chairman.
The shift would come in conjunction with the bank's proposal to change the formal name of its CEO role to "diretor presidente" from "diretor executivo geral," the company said.
In addition, Banco BMG plans to shift Marco Antonio Antunes to executive vice president and Olga Colpo to vice chairman.
The bank, which recently completed an initial public offering of preferred shares, also plans to add Eliane Aleixo Lustosa as an independent member of the board.
