Hiscox Ltd. named Bob Thaker CEO of its U.K. operations, effective March 2019.

Thaker, whose appointment is subject to relevant regulatory approvals, succeeds Steve Langan, who became CEO of Hiscox USA earlier in the year.

Thaker, who will be based out of Birmingham, England, was most recently CEO of Hiscox's DirectAsia business.
