Report: Deutsche Bank settles unfair dismissal and sex discrimination case

settled acase of allegedunfair dismissal and sex discrimination brought against it by Shivani Mathur, aformer employee who worked in the bank's London unit, Reuters reported May 9.

"MissMathur's employment tribunal claim has been resolved," a spokesman forDeutsche Bank said, according to the newswire.

TheLondon-based global head of economic resources was laid off at the order of U.S.regulators as part of a penalty for alleged LIBOR rigging, but the bank wasreportedly forced to reinstate her after a labor court in late 2015 ruled thedismissal invalid.
