Prospero Silver signs option to acquire Buenavista claims in Mexico

Prospero Silver Corp. said Aug. 1 that together with its Mexican subsidiary Mineral Fumarola SA de CV, it signed an option to acquire the Buenavista gold-silver claims in Durango, Mexico, from Exploraciones del Altiplano SA de CV.

Prospero must issue 750,000 shares to Altiplano over 48 months to exercise the option and earn a 100% interest in the property.

The company must also pay taxes due on the property, while Altiplano will retain a 2% net smelter royalty.

The deal is subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
