Senate confirms new nominations for TVA board; Chugach Electric names director

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a weekly rundown of recent executive management, board and regulatory changes in the energy industry. The moves are listed by sector in reverse chronological order.

Power

* The board of Chugach Electric Association Inc. has appointed Rachel Morse as a new director, filling the vacancy left by Janet Reiser. Reiser resigned Dec. 20 as Chugach Electric's board chair to become executive director of the Alaska Energy Authority, effective Dec. 31.

* The U.S. Senate on Dec. 21 confirmed the nominations of Kenneth Allen, A.D. Frazier, Jeffrey Smith and James Thompson III to serve on the Tennessee Valley Authority's board of directors. The board members have not yet been assigned positions on any board committees. Nominees confirmed by the U.S. Senate do not assume their positions on the board until after presidential commissioning and completion of certain administrative matters, plus a swearing in.

* Public Service Enterprise Group Inc. appointed Barry Ostrowsky to its board, effective Feb. 20, 2018. Ostrowsky serves as president and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health.

Midstream/gas utility

* Adam Altsuler, vice president and CFO of USD Group LLC, including its predecessors or the sponsor, and USD Partners GP LLC, the general partner of USD Partners LP, was named senior vice president and CFO of USD Partners GP LLC effective Jan. 1, 2018. Pursuant to his promotion, Altsuler will cease acting as the general partner’s principal accounting officer. In addition, Jay Stanford, the senior director, accounting and financial reporting of the sponsor and the general partner, will become the vice president and chief accounting officer of the sponsor and the general partner, also effective on Jan. 1, 2018.
