Asics opens largest flagship store in London

Japanese sportswear company Asics Corp. said on Aug. 2 that it has opened its largest global flagship store in London's Regent Street, featuring all four of its brands in one store for the first time.

The 840-square-meter space houses the company's namesake brand, as well as the Asics Tiger, Onitsuka Tiger and Haglöfs brands. It will also feature a robotic shoe delivery system that enables customers to order an item to be delivered to the shop floor, among other amenities.

Asics said it plans to open more brick-and-mortar stores across major city centers like Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo and New York. The company is looking to increase its store network to over 140, from 26 stores, across Europe, the Middle East and Africa over the next three years.
