Banco de Valores places notes worth 556.85M pesos, plans 356.2M peso offering

Banco de Valores SA said it placed a total of about 556.85 million Argentine pesos in fiduciary instruments known as Fideicomiso Financiero Consubond 134, according to a securities filing dated Aug. 4.

The bank placed 375.88 million pesos worth of class A bonds with a cutoff rate of 28.49%. It also placed 91.88 million pesos worth of class B bonds with a cutoff rate of 31.0%.

In addition, the bank placed 89.09 million pesos worth of participation certificates, which were granted to the trustor at par value as the certificates received no bids.

Separately, the bank announced the offering of a total of about 514.42 million Argentine pesos in fiduciary debt instruments known as Fideicomiso Financiero Megabono Credito Serie 172.

The instruments, to be auctioned Aug. 10, consist of 356.2 million pesos worth of 381-day class A bonds, 45.3 million pesos worth of 473-day class B bonds and 26.5 million pesos worth of 565-day class C bonds. The three series will carry a variable rate.

In addition, the bank will offer 86.42 million pesos worth of participation certificates, the filing noted.

The instruments will be issued Aug. 11.

As of Aug. 7, US$1 was equivalent to 17.71 Argentine pesos.
