Champion Iron Ltd. said Aug. 14 that it appointed Natacha Garoute as the company's CFO.

Garoute, with over 20 years of finance experience mainly focused in the mining sector, most recently served as CFO of Roxgold Inc.

Garoute is replacing Miles Nagamatsu in the role, who has been serving as Champion's CFO since 2014 and its Champion Iron Mines Ltd. subsidiary since 2006.
