Landmark Partners closes oversubscribed secondaries fund at $7B

Landmark Partners LLC, a private equity and real estate investment firm, raised $7 billion in capital commitments at the close of its latest secondaries fund, the PE Hub Network reported, citing a news release.

The oversubscribed private equity secondary fund, which has an initial target of $4 billion, drew investors including public pensions, corporate pensions, insurance companies, asset managers and foundations.

The vehicle will continue the company's investment strategy of buying interests in existing private equity funds, partnerships and other structured entities worldwide.

The latest round brings Landmark Partners' total capital to approximately $27 billion.
