French electric company Engie SA on July 6 said it named Paulo Almirante COO.

Almirante also will remain as executive vice president, in charge of the Generation Europe; Brazil; North, South and Eastern Europe; Middle East, South and Central Asia and Turkey business units; and environmental and social responsibility, according to a July 2 news release.
