Banco Santander Río SA said two senior executives in charge of commercial banking and risk management have left the company.

Luis Miguel García Morales, the lender's chief commercial banking officer, and Jorge Edgardo Thomas, its chief risk officer, have both departed, the company said.

The chief commercial banking officer position remains vacant for now, although the bank appointed Julio Alberto Sager interim chief risk officer. Sager is currently the bank's departmental manager of corporate credit.
