Spanish technology and consulting company Indra Sistemas SA acquired cybersecurity services provider Sistemas Informáticos Abiertos SA.

The transaction, terms of which were not disclosed, will create a company with more than 1,000 professionals and cybersecurity specialists. The merged entity's joint offer includes services and products such as identity and access management, electronic signatures, integrated risk management, security infrastructure, fraud detection, and threat and vulnerability management.

Luis Álvarez joined as CEO to lead the combined entity's integration and growth plan.
