Tele2 makes organizational changes, merges business units

Tele2 AB will merge its Fixed and Mobile Technology organizations into one business unit.

The new unit will be led by executive vice president of Technology Fixed, Thomas Helbo, effective April 1, according to a March 26 news release. Prior to joining Tele2, Helbo was chief technology officer at Com Hem AB.

Additionally, executive vice president of Technology Mobile, Thomas Björklund, will leave Tele2 at the end of June. Björklund has been with the Swiss telco for 22 years and has held various positions, including network architect and director of network strategy.
