China Merchants Bank redeems 7B yuan of bonds

China Merchants Bank Co. Ltd. redeemed 7 billion yuan of 15-year bonds issued in 2008.

The bank said Sept. 5 that it exercised its right to redeem the bonds on the 10th anniversary of the issuance.

As of Sept. 5, US$1 was equivalent to 6.83 Chinese yuan.
