AEP's Okla. utility issues RFP for energy, capacity

Public Service Co. of Oklahoma issued a request for proposals for economical capacity and energy to supply the long-term needs of its customers.

The proposals, due Feb. 24, 2017, solicit bids for the purchase of capacity and energy in amounts of 500 MW to 800 MW beginning June 1, 2022, for a term of 10 years or longer according to a Dec. 13 release.
