NederlandseWaterschapsbank NV said April 8 that its supervisory board willnominate Menno Snel for the post of chairman of the managing board at thebank's shareholder meeting on April 26.
The appointment received the required approvals by the Dutchcentral bank and the European Central Bank and will be effective Sept. 1.
Snel most recently served as director at the InternationalMonetary Fund. He will succeed Ron Walkier, who will retire April 26. In theintervening period, Nederlandse Waterschapsbank's finance and risk directorLidwin van Velden and its public finance director Frenk van der Vliet will performthe duties of chairman of the managing board.
