Cox inks carriage deal for Pac-12 Network in Arizona, California

CoxCommunications Inc. inked a carriage deal with Pac-12 Networks toadd the Pac-12 Network to its Essential tier in Arizona and designated homemarkets in California.

The agreement, financial terms of which were not disclosed,allows Cox subscribers to access all Pac-12 Networks programming, including all35 football games and more than 100 conference basketball games, along with 300Olympic sports events and all Pac-12 championships, according to a July 14 newsrelease.

Previously, Cox subscribers only had access to Pac-12Regional Sports Networks in Arizona and designated home markets in California.

Subscribers can also use the Pac-12 Now TV Everywhereservice app to access all seven Pac-12 Networks. The programming will beavailable to Cox subscribers by Aug. 2, ahead of football season kickoff onPac-12 Networks on Sept. 1.

The Pac-12 Network will show 14 football games during thefirst three Saturdays of the season.
