Intermin Resources Ltd. said March 20 that it began an initial 11,000-meter drilling program targeting new gold discoveries and a resource extension in a regional program at Kalgoorlie and Menzies in Western Australia.
The drilling program, which consists of reverse circulation and aircore drilling programs, will also follow-up results from the Binduli, Teal East, Olympia, Scotia and Windanya at Kalgoorlie as well as the Lady Irene and Selkirk targets at Menzies.
The company is targeting three high-priority targets at Coote, Darter and Honeyeater at Binduli and will conduct follow-up drilling to the east of the completed Teal open pit. It will follow-up the results from a 2017 regional program at the Scotia, Olympia and Windanya targets.
Intermind will also complete an aircore drilling program across the entire tenement portfolio at Menzies, Goongarrie, Windanya, Black Flag, Area 54, Yarmany, Binduli East, Kanowna North and Lakewood, which will test new targets.
Initial results from the drilling program are expected in the June quarter.
