S & T Corp. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was 553,130 rupees, a fall of 60.6% from 1.4 million rupees in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 7.9% from 28.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 43.5% on an annual basis to 7.0 million rupees from 4.9 million rupees, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to 5.6 million rupees from 2.6 million rupees.
Reported net income came to 885,000 rupees, compared with 2.2 million rupees in the prior-year period.
As of Jan. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 61.69 Indian rupees.
