US Senate approves 4 members to TVA board

The U.S. Senate on Dec. 21 confirmed the nominations of Kenneth Allen, A.D. Frazier, Jeffrey Smith and James Thompson III to serve on the Tennessee Valley Authority's board of directors.

The board members have not yet been assigned positions on any board committees.

Any nominees confirmed by the U.S. Senate do not assume their positions on the board until after presidential commissioning and completion of certain administrative matters, plus a swearing in.
