U.S.Bancorp has hired Eric Freedman as chief investment officer of U.S.Bank Wealth Management.

Freedman will succeed Tim Leach, who recently retired fromthe company. Freedman spent the last 10 years as CIO, managing director andglobal market strategist at CAPTRUST Financial Advisors, a Raleigh, N.C.-basedwealth management firm.
