OptiNose closes IPO

OptiNose Inc. closed its initial public offering of 8,625,000 common shares priced at $16 apiece to raise about $138 million in gross proceeds.

The shares sold included 1,125,000 shares issued upon the full exercise of the underwriter's option to by additional shares.

OptiNose's shares started trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on Oct. 13 under the symbol OPTN.

Jefferies and Piper Jaffray acted as the lead joint book-running managers of the offering. BMO Capital Markets and RBC Capital Markets also acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
