Live-action children series 'The Kicks' to debut on Amazon

Amazon.comInc. will premiere its original kids series, "The Kicks,"on Aug. 26 on Prime Video across the U.S., U.K.,Germanyand Austria.

Based on a book series by Alex Morgan, an Olympic goldmedalist and current U.S. women's national team soccer player, the show is alive-action series targeted at children between the ages of 6 and 11. "TheKicks" relates the story of Devin Burke, a soccer player, whose familymoves to California during the school year. At her new school, the soccer teamcalled The Kicks is on a losing streak for the past few months and need someoneto rally the team and bring them around.

The first season of the show will be available for free toAmazon Prime members through the Amazon Video app for TVs, as well as on AmazonFire TV, mobile devices or online.
