Olympus Power to take Entergy, Shell stakes in wind farms

EntergyServices Inc. and ShellWindEnergy Inc. are seeking FERC approval to sell their respective50% interests in two wind facilities, totaling approximately 160 MW, to anaffiliate of Olympus Power LLC.

Under the deal, BlueMarlin Energy Holdings LLC will acquire the interests in the 80-MWLlano Estacado Wind Ranchfacility in Carson County, Texas, and the 80-MW Northern Iowa Windpower facility in WorthCounty, Iowa.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Llano Estacado Wind facility is interconnected with thetransmission system operated by SouthwestPower Pool Inc. and the Northern Iowa Windpower is interconnectedwith the Midcontinent IndependentSystem Operator Inc.-operated transmission system, according to aSept. 15 application. (EC16-182)
